As I focused all my attention towards my inner darkness, to meet it, get to know it and fall in love with it, a pulsating beacon of cold love and warm hate greeted me with the joy of recognition and seduced me to keep staring into the flame at the center of its body, and once the silence turned to light I found myself eye to eye with the eye of the Devil.

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

I was drawn to the cover as this painting of the death of Chatterton has since long been one of my favourites. It turns out that the music paints a similar picture of deep agony overlaid with a blanket of dreariness.I already missed this poet I never knew, and now I miss him even more. lady of shalott
